About Anika

My name is Anika Kohlstedt. This homepage is a collection of my paintings, thoughts and photographs to share them with others.

Painting has always been a part of me as well as taking photographs. Even though I don't bother much about the professional technique - my pictures are more about capturing the mood of the moment. I try to give shape to my thoughts and emotions, sometimes because they need to escape my head, sometimes to make them more concrete for myself.

I was born in Nienburg/Weser, studied physics in Göttingen and worked in Darmstadt for some years. Currently I'm living near Munich together with my husband.
